Bantam Girls Win Silver Medal!
February 4 - 6, Niagara Falls Red Raiders Tourney
The Bantam girls travelled to Niagara Falls to compete in one of the most challenging tournaments of the season to capture the Silver Medal.  All 12 girls played with intensity, and each game a different player led the team in scoring.  In the gold medal game they trailed by 12 in the final period, but narrowed it down to 5 before running out of time!  Great job girls!!
Novice Girls Win Gold Medal!
February 26 - 27, Blessed Sacrament Tourney
The Novice girls competed in the local Blessed Sacrament Tournament on the weekend.   This is a first year team, and they have shown great improvement.   The girls won their first medal of the year by going undefeated in their final 3 games to capture the Gold medal!  Parents and coaches are very proud of the effort them put in.  Great job girls!!
Major Midget Girls Win Gold Medal!
February 25 - 27, Cambridge Centaurs Tourney
The Major Midget Girls travelled to Cambridge to compete in the annual Centaurs Tournament.  The girls worked hard every game, showing some amazing hustle and skills. In the end the girls emerged with a fantastic Gold medal!  The coaches are very proud of all the players.  Congratulations ladies!
Major Atom Girls Win Silver Medal!
March 4th-6th- Grimsby Grizzlies Tournament
The Major Atom Girls brought home their first medal of the season winning Silver at the Grimsby tournament.  The girls have improved their basketball skills immensely this year.  The girls came back from a 15 point deficit to close the gap to 5 points in the gold medal match before running out of time.  Coaches are proud of the level of dedication and heart the girls show in their play.  Well done ladies!

March 25 - 27, Provincial Finals (OBAs)
The Novice Girls travelled to Chatham to compete in the OBAs.  The team came in ranked 7th in their D4 pool, but went on to win all 3 games to advance to the semis.  The semis provided an exciting last second 1 point victory!  In the finals they took control of the game early and finished the season with an incredible 8 -0 run.  The girls showed great inprovement over the course of the season!
December 10 - 12, Dundas Dynamo Tourney
The Bantam girls won their first medal of the season, in a hard fought tournament in neighboring Dundas.   As we look back it was the start of the teams best season ever.  Their new found aggressvie defense caused many turnovers and a new sense of confidence.  Congratulations ladies!
April 29 - May 1, Provincial Finals (OBAs)
The Major Midget Girls competed in the D5 OBAs this past weekend, racing away with a silver medal!  The girls showed mental toughness winning 2 games in OT, going undefeated til the Gold Medal Game. The team was also awarded the fair play award by the OBAs!!  Wrapping up the season they won 3 golds and 2 silvers! Great stuff!

The major bantam boys competed in the MUMBA tournament recently, and came away with an exciting and hard fought silver medal.  Congratulations AA silver medalists!

Bantam Girls Win Gold Medal!
January 9-11, Brantford CYO Tourney
The Bantam girls travelled to Brantford to compete in this weekend tourney, and "ran the table", going 5 - 0 to capture the Gold Medal.  They trailed at half in the semi-final game, but came back to win by 16.  In the gold medal game they fell behind early, but came back to defeat their heavily favored opponent!  Great job girls!!
